Hey all you groovy hep cats and kittens!  The time has finally come to get your art freak on.  On Saturday January 17th at Lowell Art Works gallery I am hosting the most awesome art event ever!!!  THE VELVET SHOW!  That's right, all of the wonderful, tacky, imaginative velvet art you can handle.  We'll be up to our fuzzy luvin' eyeballs in kitch and creativity!  The festivities are from 4-9 so come on down and party!  If you can't make the opening you can still check it out the next day from 1-5 or the following three weekends on Saturday and Sunday from 1-5.  So no excuses, come on in and soak up the culture!!!

The Christmas Season

11/17/2008

It's about that time of year to start thinking about X-mas shopping.  It's the perfect time of year to give that gift that keeps on giving.  I'm not talking about the pink battery bunny, I'm talking about tattoos!  I now have gift certificates available to put under the tree so give me a call and make someone's year truly special.  It's the one gift that they will never forget.  Here's to a wonderful holiday season, I wish you all the best!

My new studio

10/18/2008

So it's official, I'm all moved in to my new space!  If you are just tuning in I've opened a private studio in Everett and will be tattooing by appointment.  I'm very excited to be out on my own.  I've been at this for a long time and I thought that this was the next logical step.  It's very refreshing to be tattooed in a stress free space  without the distraction of phone calls and people walking around.  Give me a call at 425-418-4644 or e-mail me to make an appointment!

The space is in the "Lowell Art Works" building at 5205 S. 2nd Ave.  in the historic Lowell district of Everett.  The building is full of artist's studios and a great gallery that has openings on the third Sat. of every month to correspond with the Everett Art Walk.  There is always something funky and fun going on around here.

There are also some exciting new changes to the web site so if you haven't checked it out lately, feel free to browse around.  I would love to hear from you if you have any questions or feedback.  Thanks to all of you, and despite the political nonsense going on right now, the future looks brighter than ever!

Award in Seattle!

8/11/2008

The Seattle Tattoo Expo was a lot of fun this last weekend.  I even won an award for best Tribal tattoo with Frank Porretta's Pheonix sleeve.  I hope you made it to the show, it was a great weekend.

Happy May Day!

4/30/2008

I'm back!  I had a great time in Reno and Missoulla, now I'm ready to have a great time at home.  Spring has sprung and there's lots of blank skin to decorate, so if you're ready just come on in.  I'll be looking for you.

Spring

3/29/2008

So spring has yet to actually come to this area, but I think it will soon.  Probably while I'm out of town.  I'll be in Reno for the National Tattoo Convention April 17th-20th.  After that I'll be heading over to Missoula MT to visit the folks at the Painless Steel headquarters.  I imagine I'll be tattooing from the 22nd-29th.  Let me know if you want to book some time.  I still have openings for the beginning of April open so come on in.

off to a great start

1/31/2008

So 2008 is off to a great start.  I've started several new large pieces and am looking to do more.  I've also been busy in the studio making artwork on paper and canvas.  Busy is the way I like it so let me know what I can do for you.  There's always time to talk about new and exciting projects.

I didn't make it to Austin like I thought I would, but I will be in Reno around the beginning of April.  That's right, it's time for the National convention once again.  I'll have some work hanging at the LAW building for the "Nude Awakenings" show in February so stop on by and check it out at www.lowellartworks.com for show times.

Holiday Happiness

12/10/2007

So it's that time of year again kiddies.  Hope all your shopping goes smoothly.  Keep in mind that Supergenius tattoos does sell gift certificates.  It's a perfect way to put a new tattoo under the tree.  I'll be in town for the rest of the year, but will be going to Austin Texas from the 3rd through the 8th of January for the live fast tattoo convention.  It's a great time of year to go south so let me know if you want some time at the show!  Be safe and have a great holiday season.

Nov. already!

10/31/2007

Time keeps on tickin'.  The party was a lot of fun!  Thanks go out to everyone who came, I hope you had as much fun as I did.  To everyone who couldn't make it, maybe next time.  Try not to be too jealous!  Ha!

I'll be out of town for a few days around Thanksgiving but otherwise I'm here for the rest of the year.  I'll be headed to Austin later in January, I'm looking forward to visiting there.  I've always heard great things about it.  I believe the Nats are in Reno again this year.  That will be in April.

I'm trying to start a mailing list so if you are interested in being on it please let me know.  Just send me an e-mail saying you wish to be added and I'll get on it.  The idea is that I can let you know when new stuff is going on either at the shop or in the studio.

Cheers!

Party in Everett!

10/15/2007

So I've started renting some studio space with a few friend in Everett close to my house.  It's at the Lowell Art Works and it kicks ass.  There are about 15 other artists that share the building so there is always something going on which is very exciting.  On Saturday October 20th we have decided to throw a studio warming party.  It's from 4 to whenever we decide to kick people out.  The building is at 5205 S. 2nd Ave, Everett WA 98203.  You can get directions at www.lowellartworks.com .  There will be plenty of refreshments and tons of artwork to see/buy.  It also corresponds with the Everett art walk so we expect lots of people to stop in and say "hi".

I'm still tattooing at Supergenius up on Capitol hill so if you want to be tattooed that's the place to find me.  The space in Everett is strictly for my non tattoo artwork.  You all know how I like to stay busy.  See you there!

summer is over... I think.

9/20/2007

Man, that seemed like a short summer.  It was a good one though, maybe that's why it went by so fast.  For those of you who need it, my schedule has stabilized.  I work noon to eight Thursday through Monday.  I'll be off for a few days around Thanksgiving, but I don't plan on taking anymore extended trips until January.  I've picked up some studio space in Everett close to my house at the Lowell Art Works on second st. .  Check the link for the exact address.  I won't be tattooing there but I hope start producing more artwork, so that should help.  I do have a new print for sale, it's the Koi piece in the artworks section.  So give me a call or stop by when your ready for some new work, I'm excited to help.

summer 07

6/12/2007

It's shaping up to be a great summer this year.  We've already had lots of warm sunny days which are pretty important here in Seattle.  The warmer it gets the more people think about tattoos and that means I'm busy, busy, busy!  Exactly the way I like to spend my summers.  I will be out of town the first half of August on vacation, which I'm looking forward to.  Unfortunately that means I won't be able to attend this years Seattle show.  I'm totally bummed about that as it's the first one I'll have missed...Ever.  I still encourage everyone to attend as it's a wonderful show and I'll expect you to tell me all about it.  Enjoy the Sun with some new tattoos!  Just give me a call and don't forget your sunscreen!

april 07

4/29/2007

Hey, National was a great show!  Thanks to everyone who came out.

The coverage for last years Seattle show is finally making it in the mags.  I've got three pics in July's International Tattoo Arts magazine, check it out!

I'll be at the Spokane convention over Cinco de Mayo weekend so stop by if you can.  Enjoy the Spring weather.

Nationals are coming

3/25/2007

April 12th-15th brings the National Tattoo convention to town.  I'll be there all weekend and it would be great to see you there.  You need to preregister if you plan to be there all weekend but you can go for just the day on Sat. and Sun.  That's when all the tattooing is being done.  If you want to book some time for the show just give me a call!

March 07

3/2/2007

So I hope all is well with everyone.  I'm havin' a great year so far!  I really appreciate all of your support.  Don't forget the 'Nats' are next month so if you want to get tattooed at a convention just give me a call!

I can,t believe it's Feb. already!

2/21/2007

Things are really starting to pick up this year. My next show will be here in Seattle. The Nationals are April 12th-15th at the Seattle Airport Double Tree Hotel. After that my next scheduled event is the Seattle show in August. I've discovered a great free website for people who love tattoos. It's called inked nation and it works a lot like MySpace but it's all about the tattoo lifestyle. So if you swing by feel free to look me up. Or even better, get a hold of me to make your next tattoo appointment. Have a great time until we meet again!
